In terms of outsider music or private press lounge records this one is special. While it's arguably in the same vein as your typical vanity pressing lounge act LP, recorded live with stage banter, jokes and some corny music, it manages to step outside that staid genre and enter the lower regions of the stratosphere. He uses a huge array of vintage synths and early drum machines, adds sound effects and prog-rock improvisations, and while he mostly keeps to music from Disney movies he occasionally slips in quotes from Pink Floyd, the Beatles, etc. Why this isn't huge with fans of other outsider/lounge LPs is beyond me, perhaps the Disney World connection, maybe because he's not quite as corny as The Links, or as weird/inexplicable as the Shaggs or Konrad, who knows. Recommended.
