Afkomstig van de 2xLP Drs. P - Het Geheim Van Het Bestaan uit 1977. Het eerste nummer van LP1 "De Stille Odyssee"’ ontbreekt hier, omdat die niet werd uitgevoerd door Drs. P (maar door Els van Woerkom). In plaats daarvan is als bonustrack (track 22) de allervroegste opname van ‘De Zusters Karamazov’ door Heinz Polzer toegevoegd. Dit lied verscheen onder de titel ‘De twee tantes’ op de EP ‘Heinz Polzer zingt uit het Zangboekje voor Bijzienden (door een kindervriend).
Op kant 2 van "De Stille Odyssee" stond een ingekorte causerie over rijm en rijmschema; die ontbreekt hier
LP2 "De Wilde Orchidee" staat integraal op deze CD (tracks 8-21)

Included with the book "Tante Constance En Tante Mathilde"; a collection of lyrics by Drs. P. The book also contains (historical) notes by Drs. P, a complete discography and this CD.

The CD is a compilation of the double LP Het Geheim Van Het Bestaan; LP tracks A1 and B1 are not included on this CD. A1 is not sung by Drs. P. and therefor was decided it shouldn't be included with this book focussing on Drs. P. Track B1 is not included on this release because it is not a song, but an informal talk about rhyme and rhyme scheme.
A bonustrack is included (to make up for the missing tracks, according to the justification in the book): track 22 is the earliest recording known of the song "De Zusters Karamazov" (recorded in Baarn, 1957). This recording comes from the original 1957 EP "Heinz Polzer Zingt Uit Het Zangboekje Voor Bijzienden (Door Een Kindervriend)", privately released by the Rotterdams Studentencorps. The other recordings from this EP are included in this release (track 1 - 7).
The complete EP was released in 2012 as a promotional item on CD.

This book is published in the "Pluche"-series by Nijgh & Van Ditmar. The disc is housed in a paper sleeve glued to inside of the backcover.
