Transglobal Underground - Earth Tribe / Slowfinger download free

Kris Needs is responsible for some of the most wicked trancey tracks from the early 90's. His works are sophisticated and honest, with incredible imagination, flow, and arrangement. No-nonsense, full-on, head-down, hands-high business. Delta Lady "Anything You Want" is a perfect example of this, but "Slowfinger" really stands out as my favorite. The use of voices in the intro and breakdown are sublime and the distorted 909 breakbeat that comes at the breakdown in earth-wrecking. The one problem with this record is that the bassline, though over-the-top ferocious, is EQ'd too heavy on the bass. You have bring it down on the mixer when you play it.
